If you’re new to the world of vehicle tuning, you may not be familiar with the term “remapping.” Simply put, remapping is a process that involves modifying the settings of your vehicle’s engine control unit (ECU) to improve its performance. Quite often, manufacturers will intentionally reduce the power of the engine depending on the model. With a remap, you can unlock the full potential of your vehicle, increasing power and torque, improving fuel efficiency, and enhancing the overall driving experience.

Warranty

OPTIONAL MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN WARRANTY

In the event of an unforeseen occurrence where your vehicle experiences a failure in a component directly attributed to the Animal Tuning remap, our Mechanical Breakdown Warranty will cover the repair or replacement of the faulty part. This warranty remains valid for 12 months or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first, with a maximum claim limit of £10,000. However, vehicles with mileage exceeding 90,000 miles are not eligible for the extended warranty.

For each qualifying vehicle, the cost of the warranty is 10% of the Remap Cost. While the utilization of this extended warranty is optional, we highly recommend it. Please note that the Mechanical Breakdown Warranty is subject to terms and conditions.

Kindly be informed that our warranty is exclusively available within the UK. If you are outside of the UK, we suggest exploring alternative options for extended warranties or insurance.

Modifying a car is not without its risks, especially with older vehicles or those driven constantly to their limits. Consequently, occasional serious failures may occur.

To clarify, the warranty for a job that involves a DPF, EGR, or AdBlue solution only covers the software aspect. We cannot be held responsible for any hardware-related claims that may arise. This warranty does not extend to any subsequent failures of hardware components such as sensors or pipes in the exhaust system. These failures could be a result of damage or improper treatment during the hardware process, which is beyond our control and would not be impacted by the software update.

However, with our extensive experience and expertise in vehicle remapping, we can confidently say that these risks are minimal.
